Get To Know Me

My name is Thomas Chang, a junior at Greenwich High School. I’ve been cooking for over 7 years now and am excited to bring my culinary capabilities to the next level.

In the spring of 24’, I ran a food service business called “Campus Eats” that had a revenue of $700. I have prior experience in running a business and cooking for large parties.

Availability

Saturdays: Noon - 9:00pm

Sundays: Noon - 7:00pm

Limit of 1 booking per weekend, first come first serve. If a booking has already been placed for Saturday, then Sunday will be unavailable.

Client Responsibilities

Dinnerware has to be handled by the clients. My services do not include setting up table arrangements like plates, utensils, glasses, napkins, ect.

The client is responsible for purchasing alcoholic beverages- wine and beer- because I am under the legal purchasing age.

All cookware will be my own and brought to the clients house. This includes pots, pans, baking trays, mixing bowls, serving platters, etc. Clients are only responsible for dinnerware, as mentioned above.

Timing & Logistics

To ensure that I can plan accordingly, the client should tell me the time at which food is to be served. I will arrive 2-3 hours prior to this time.

Food is not served in “courses”. Everything is freshly plated within 20-30 minutes and served.

After finishing service, I clean the kitchen and pack up my supplies. This will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes

Example: Dinnertime at 8:00pm

  • 5:30 pm, Arrive
  • 8:00 pm, Serve Food
  • 9:30 pm, Leave

Pricing

Grocery costs are covered by the client, typically around $200-250. All groceries are bought at Whole Foods the day prior to the event.

The hourly rate is $25/hr. This rate covers all off-site and on-site hours. An average event will take roughly 12 hours of behind the scenes prep & on-site work.

The final bill will be around $500 (Estimate) for a party of 6-8 people.

Food Allergies

Gluten & Dairy are essential to the menus that I have created, so they cannot be removed.

Tree Nuts can be omitted at the clients request. However, I cannot guarantee a %100 contamination-free cooking environment.

Because of the potential liability, I cannot offer services to a client if they or a member of their party has a serious, life-threatening food allergy.
